Ya'an, also known as Yucheng, is a prefecture-level city of Sichuan Province, located at the western edge of Sichuan Basin, at the eastern foot of Qionglai Mountain, Chengdu to the east, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture to the east, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture to the south and Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture to the north.
